Craig “CAP” Capriotti is a highly respected commercial real estate broker with over four decades of industry experience. Known for his deep expertise in office property sales, leasing, and exclusive tenant representation, Cap has been a fixture in the Fresno real estate market since 1978. As the founder of Fortune Associates, he has built a trusted full-service brokerage firm known for its commitment to client success across multiple property types. 

Experience

Cap began his commercial real estate career in 1978 with Charles Tingey Associates, a local Fresno firm. In 1984, he joined the national firm Grubb & Ellis company, where he led the Office Properties Division in Fresno, specializing in leasing, office building sales, and investment property transactions.

Since 1981, Cap has consistently ranked among Fresno’s top commercial brokers, known for his skillful deal-making and long-standing client relationships. In 1993, he launched Fortune Associates, which has since grown into a respected real estate firm with twelve brokers specializing in office, industrial, land, and investment sales and leasing.

Cap’s transaction portfolio includes high-profile clients such as: Kaiser Hospital, STIHL Corporation, Bank of America, AT&T, State of California, Blue Cross, New York Life, GSA (General Services Administration), AXA Life, Chase Bank, North American Title, California State Auto Association, Fresno Unified School District, CBS Broadcasting Company, Chicago Title, Central California Faculty Medical Group, Sierra Pacific Orthopedic, Monterey Chemical, and many other leading companies and organizations.

Education & Affiliations

Cap graduated from college in 1975 and has lived and worked in Fresno, California throughout his career. He is married and enjoys spending time with his family, including supporting the next generation of entrepreneurs— his daughter and son-in-law, who now run the Fresno Credit Bureau and Creditors Bureau of California, which Cap and his wife Carol successfully owned and operated until selling the business in 2017.

Cap is also known for his unique background as a professional magician and has been a member of the prestigious Magic Castle in Los Angeles for over 43 years. His community involvement includes serving on the Board of The Infant of Prague, a Fresno adoption agency, and as a Board Member of the San Joaquin Country Club.

In his free time, Cap enjoys playing guitar, golfing, fishing, and traveling.
