Brett Fugman

Brett D. Fugman is a seasoned commercial real estate professional with over three decades of experience, specializing in office properties and tenant representation in California’s Central Valley. Since launching his career in 1989, Brett has built a strong reputation for his market knowledge, transactional success, and long-standing client relationships. Based in Fresno, Brett is committed to delivering strategic solutions for both property owners and tenants.

Experience

Brett began his commercial real estate career with The Irvine Company in Newport Beach, California, working in the Office Properties Division and focusing on the prestigious Office Towers at Fashion Island. In 1991, he returned to his hometown of Fresno to concentrate on office property sales and leasing.

In 1997, Brett joined Fortune Associates’ Office Division, where he played a key role in shaping the local real estate market. Over the past ten years alone, Brett has been involved in transactions totaling over 7,000,000 square feet and more than $200 million in commercial property sales. His expertise includes exclusive tenant representation, and he has successfully completed deals with major national and regional clients.

In addition to brokerage services, Brett has been actively involved in property development and acquisition since 1995, working across multiple real estate sectors including commercial, retail, industrial, and multi-family properties throughout the Central Valley. His client list includes: Internal Revenue Service, State of California, A.I.G, Starbucks, Kaiser Permanente, Valley Children’s Hospital, New York Life, John Hancock Insurance Services, Citizens Business Bank, Westamerica Bank, Vision Care Eye Care, Neurosurgical Associates, Keller Williams, Devry University, MetLife Insurance, and many more.

Education & Affiliations

Brett holds a degree in Real Property Management and Development from the University of Southern California (USC). He was recognized in 2004 the Fresno Business Journal as one of the “Forty Under Forty,” honoring professionals making significant contributions to their industry and community.

He is married with two children and a granddaughter, and resides in Fresno, California. Outside of work, Brett enjoys golfing, hunting, and various sporting activities.
